Ticket price for Santo Domingo on Line 2

The fare at all stations and on all lines of the Santo Domingo Metro is RD$20.00 (~$0.33 USD).

If you plan to travel frequently, we recommend purchasing a rechargeable card. This card costs RD$15.00 (~$0.25 USD) pesos and allows you to make multiple trips at any time during metro service hours. Additionally, once purchased, you can recharge the card with credit to extend its validity and useful life.

Information about Santo Domingo Line 2

Generally, passengers on the Santo Domingo subway system often have various questions and concerns about the Line 2. That is why we have compiled and answered a series of frequently asked questions for users of the subway service who need this information. This information has been verified and is up to date.

The Line 2 Metro line in Santo Domingo was opened in two phases. Phase 2A opened in 2013, and Phase 2B opened in 2018.

It is over 16 kilometers long, stretching from Concepción Bona Station to María Montez Station.

The Line 2 line of the Santo Domingo subway system has 18 stations.

The subway trains complete this route in approximately 37 minutes each way.

The first subway train begins running at 6:00 a.m.

The subway’s last departure is at 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
